Rachel
Gilbert grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She began tattooing
there professionally in 2001. In 2005, she received
a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from the University
of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
After
a brief stint owning her own studio, traveling to Texas
and Michigan as a guest artist, becoming the 'official'
tattoo artist of her Temple, and receiving compliments
on her work from Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, she has finally
relocated to her new home in Portland, Oregon.
Rachel's
work has been featured in Tattoo Review magazine,
as well as the tattoos section of Terry Moore's graphic
novel, Strangers in Paradise.
